The Authentic Ministry has decided to adopt water purification as one emphasis for our ministry in which we can serve the world concerning the things on God's heart.  We are partnering with EDGE outreach in big and small ways.  You can give.  You can build.  You can go.  We will be updating this site periodically to tell you how you can specifically serve in this area where over 50% of the world population does not have clean water to drink - helping the poor in this basic need.

We will be going throughout the semester to New Life Mission on Saturdays and help build water purifiers.  We will be collecting money weekly to give towards building purifiers and wells.

We will be updating this site as specific opportunities are scheduled but be praying for ways you may become involved in meeting such a basic need for people all over the world.

We would love for you to help in so many different ways.  Once a Month Lunch - The various Adult Sunday school classes at CBC host a lunch monthly for our college students because . . . well . . . they like to eat, and we like to get to know each other.  If your class would like to host a lunch, we are always in the need of volunteers.

We are always in need of food for various events - if you like to bake or host students - we would love to call you as the need arises.

We need creative and technically savvy people!  We are always in the need for logos and ideas for t-shirts and for advertising various events.  If you are good at computer programs that help create logos or are creative in coming up with ideas for various event advertising and would like to be "on call" as the need arises to come up with ideas for the logos for various events/shirts/etc., then we would love to know it!

We need Sunday morning investment.  Sunday school - 11:00 on Sunday morning is the time of the week we have the most students in our building.  We need individuals and couples to join our class with the sole purpose being to care for students - get to know them, eat lunch with them, maybe host them at your home.

We need adults to invest in our college students - to get to know them, care about them, send them letters, emails, encouragements, discuss their spiritual growth.  If you would like to learn more about mentoring a student, please contact Kelly.
